When Maria Romanoff (Black Widow) gets a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate a crime boss in Newark she runs into Eric Masterson and Thor (Joe LaMont) who she shoots instantly out of panic. Thankfully Joe's Asgardian Healing Factor saves his life after healing he instantly has feelings for Maria. (Who as it turns out shares those feelings.) After Joe and Maria's superhearing kick in and reveal that Odinson (the crime boss mentioned earlier) is right behind the very wall that they were next to. | - When Maria Romanoff gets a mission for S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate a crime boss in Newark she runs into Eric Masterson and Thor who she shoots instantly out of panic. Thankfully Joe's Asgardian Healing Factor saves his life after healing he instantly has feelings for Maria. After Joe and Maria's superhearing kick in and reveal that Odinson is right behind the very wall that they were next to. Upon breaking down the sewer wall they did not only find Odinson but also Viper, Goblin King, MODOK 2.0., where they introduce themselves as The Masters of Evil. After they learn that the new villainous team was out to get the superheroes. In Issue 2 of this event we find the heroes handcuffed to a pipe while the self destruct button counts down. Joe asks Maria & Eric if there were only two heroes that could save would they pick a nearby rookie or a Hulk in Harlem. After calling the fourth-wall breaker Hawkeye. Who arrives exactly when there's one minute left on the clock. Cut to Harlem where we find out that the MoE had broken out the Abomination from the Cellar and the Abomination has orders to take on The Hulk after a couple minutes of fighting we learn that KC is unable to hold up against the older gamma monster. And the other Heroes join the fight. Cut to the Stark Vault where we learn that the real objective of the MoE is to steal the Siege Perilous for HYDRA. After the alarm in the vault is tripped it brings the attention of John Sanchez and Tony Stark. Tony in his new Gladiator Armor goes after the villains which ends in an energy absorb-er to the arc reactor. He gives a command to FRIDAY to reboot the armor and also make the armor explode in a way that leaves the armor and Tony unharmed. It leaves the MoE in a coma even though on the other side of the wall that divided the facility from the subterranean vault that HYDRA goons had already stole the Seige Perilous. While this was going on Black Widow, Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye are being pounded by the Abomination. When John shows up in the savior armor which he gives a command and it quickly expanded into a version of the Hulkbuster armor and quickly knocks out the near fatigue Gamma Villain. After this, an alert issued by Director Simmons herself, that the Seige Perilous is in possession of the Green Goblins and they issued the new Spider-Man to fight them. She also said that for Joe, Maria, Caspar to go over their with their team. When they get there Spider-Man says he was just "finishing up with ol' Ramsy here" After saying this Black Widow notes that his fire breath is currently breaking through the webs meanwhile while everyone is getting ready to care of him. After breaking through the webs. Goblin King says that it's too late. Thor tells him to web up Mjolnir and and hold on and to make sure he's on there too. Mjolnir takes out the guys in front meanwhile Thor & Richard will take out anyone else. Maria & John do the same. She tells him to shoot an experimental beta repulsor that can be controlled once leaving the gauntlet. John instantly wonders how she knew about it but, not even saying a word and does it anyway. The beta covers Black Widow's stingers and turns them all five that she shot out into homing missiles. After the dust settles all goons are gone. And anyone who is left surrenders.
