abstract	Jedi Enclaves were small, satellite training and defense facilities of the Jedi Order, as proxies of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Enclaves were spread throughout the galaxy during the time of the Old Republic up until sometime before the Clone Wars. Notable facilities included those on Dantooine and the arctic pole of Telos IV. Enclaves each had their own Jedi Council but were ultimately responsible to the Jedi High Council on Coruscant. After the Jedi Civil War, Enclaves began to be discontinued as the Jedi began to favor a more collective training system. Eventually, Enclaves became entirely obsolete and were phased out of the Order, and some remote training camps set up by various Jedi to obtain a greater understanding of the Force may also have been phased out.
