Miguel Juan Sebastián Piñera Echenique (born December 1, 1949) is a chilean economist, private businessman and politician who served as President of Chile from 2010 until 2014. He was elected on February 10, 2010 in a runoff and was inaugurated on April 10, 2010 in Santiago. He became the first billionaire elected President in a South American country in history and the first Christian Democrat elected to the Presidency of Chile since Patricio Aylwin in 1990.
