- __NOWYSIWYG__ Power Gem Battle Data Affected by Contest Data Contest Spectaculars (ORAS) Power Gem is a Rock-type move introduced in Generation IV. Most of the Pokémon that learns this move have a gem somewhere on their body. It is one of the only two special Rock type moves, the other being AncientPower.

- Power Gem is a type of Special Gem that appears in Bejeweled 2 and the old version of Bejeweled Blitz (before the 2010 update). It has an appearance of gem with a glow effect.
- Power Gems, also called Power Stones, are energized minerals similar to Chaos Emeralds found on Mobius. Properties of Power Gems include increased all around power, the ability to increase the size of objects, and the ability to upgrade or power machines. Supposedly, it is one of the rarest occurring natural elements, second only to the Chaos Emeralds.
- At some point in his efforts to take over Mobius, Dr. Robotnik created Power Gems to serve as energy sources for his weaponry and technology. Due to an unknown fluke, one temporarily transported Sonic the Hedgehog, Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel into an alternate zone; it apparently affected the flow of time as Sonic and Mighty reappeared almost instantly despite having experienced a longer time within the zone itself, and Ray, who was later found trapped with the gem, experienced what seemed like mere hours to him over the course of nearly a decade. - Some people get super-powers from a power object. There are a wide variety of power objects, not all of which are power gems. Examples:
* The Lamplighter, who has a lantern that gives him Powers as the Plot Demands.
* Nightgaunt, who obtained his powers from a power gem. He's also an example of the problem with power gems: they can be taken from you.
* Splendor of the Cadet Crusaders, who gets her powers from several power gems.
* Dragonrider obtained three cultured power gems from Nephandus in exchange for information..
- Power gems were extremely powerful stones capable of emitting a shield-disrupting aura. Once part of an ancient, rare meteor, power gems gradually lost their abilities over time, but were potent when first mined. In 23 BBY, Quenelle and Obi-Wan Kenobi attempted to locate a set of three power gems, known as the Lost Stars of Nallastia, on the moon of Nallastia. Upon finding them, they used them to dissipate an energy field.
