Originally, George Benson was a banker who fell in love with Sally Crane, but Sally spurred his advances for Mr. Tracy, a camp-owner. Benson mad with jealousy tried to bankrupt the camp and indirectly murdered Sally. However, her daughter eventually grew into her exact likeness and Benson became obsessed with her. So, George Benson became an insane kidnapper who dressed as a pale white fish-like monster. He kidnapped several teen-age girls at a camp including Sally, but he was stopped by the Flame.
