Susan Stafford (born Susan Gail Carney on October 13, 1945), was best known as the first letter turner on TV's Wheel of Fortune. A former local TV personality turned national star, Susan was TV's party girl having partnered with Chuck Woolery for six years on Wheel up until Chuck's departure. At one time, Susan was offered to leave Wheel for another popular game show, The Price is Right, as one of the models by producer Mark Goodson. Susan gladly said no.
