Zoinichi was the bandit leader who claimed to be a long-lost descendant of the famous ronin sensei Oshiro, who devised the Hundred Stances style. The scrolls of his ancestors were kept in the Hundred Stances Dojo, which he considered his birthright. Zoinichi attacked the Dojo, using hit-and-run tactics, horse archery, and refusing to engage the defenders directly. The bandit demanded the scrolls to halt the assault. A group of samurai defeated the bandits.
