He used the last shot of this gun with great affect in Tremors 2: Aftershocks to take out a Shrieker at long range blasting it apart. However it continued on through the cement wall wooden beams, oil barrels, an outhouse, all the way into a car through body into the engine apparently puncturing the transmission tank and continued for about five miles after that.

He later discarded it while being chased by three shriekers, he threw it on the ground, and then hid in a tractor bucket.
