Growing up in the middle class of society as his father worked as an economist within the IGBC, Lannik was tested from an early age to see if he would make it into high society. Never amounting to it as he grew up at a young age he was sent to boarding schools around Muunilinst until he recieved a proper education. Although his parents were never rich, nor were they never entirely poor he lived at least a comfortable and decent life. When he became an adult he went to a university where he studied economics and politics. Being tested there every single day of his life he found it rather boring really.

Growing up in the middle class of society as his father worked as an economist within the IGBC, Lannik was tested from an early age to see if he would make it into high society. Never amounting to it as he grew up at a young age he was sent to boarding schools around Muunilinst until he recieved a proper education. Although his parents were never rich, nor were they never entirely poor he lived at least a comfortable and decent life. When he became an adult he went to a university where he studied economics and politics. Being tested there every single day of his life he found it rather boring really. Lannik didn't wanna study or be tested...he wanted to live it! Be around it! If he were to be tested on something he wished to have the experience to be in the high society of the Muuns and the IGBC. So, he decided to get a job as an Intern within his father's part of the IGBC and study under him. It took him a year and a half before he gained enough experience to rise up and be paid for what he was doing. All the while his university studies were going just as well. He paid for some of his schooling until one of the high ranking members of the Banking Clan took interest in him. The young Muun was high strung, driven, and most of all, eager to make his way into the higher part of the society of the Muun species. The high ranking member took interest in the young Lannik and took him under his wing, letting him do the books for him on his debts and income. Lannik took the job with a smile and after a while the ranking official let him see the politics of the Banking Clan and slowly let him see for himself what he would be getting into. Which pleased the young man greatly. Another two years and Lannik had passed his tests with flying colors. Afterwards the Muun walked around confident as ever. Although he was low on the totem pole of high society, he didn't care. It was then he figured that he would take his business and political knowledge off planet...and heard of The Soverign Galactic Empire needing people for their intern program. What better way to get into a high society then through the Empire. So, he packed his bags, told his parents where he was going and headed off for Bastion...Family
