The LZ-2 Spectre was designed to replace the aging A-wing. Sporting updated systems all around, the LZ-2 is superior to the original A-wing in every way. Unfortunately, the deal with the New Republic went sour (with suspected pressure from the Republic Engineering Corporation to turn it down), and so Hoersch-Kessel Drive has begun offering this fighter up on the open market.
