Chokath HoHwI' (or the Triangle of Death) was a Klingon starship tactic. This tactic was designed to take advantage of the weapon placement of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey. With the vessel's wings in attack mode (creating a triangle between the wing disruptors and the forward torpedo launcher) the Bird-of-Prey fires its disruptors followed microseconds later by a torpedo aimed at a single point. If the attacker was lucky or well timed the disruptors weaken the deflector shields enough that the torpedo is able to bypass and strike the hull. This process was also referred to as "shield dimpling" by Starfleet. (The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
