In 3648 BBY, 7 years after the Treaty of Coruscant, a group of pirates, as well as a seperate clan of Mandalorians, launched an attack on Imperial prison Station Hord. The attack was a three-way-engagement between the Station's defenders, mostly Imperial soldiers; pirates and smugglers, led by the young but skilled gunslinger Salovan; and the Mandalorian Clan Efron. The attack signalled a crumbling defeat for the Empire after their dominance in the galaxy in the latter years of the Great Galactic War and the Cold War that followed, sparking more anti-Imperial activity across the galaxy, especially in the Mid Rim.
