Wrestlers were demons that worked for Kellman. They are lesser demons, who have to fight the students of the academy who need a refresher course. Similar to other demons at The Academy, they were presumably once mortal.

- The Wrestlers were the two characters who competed in a bout in the Viaduct Sporting Club in October 1964 immediately before Stan Ogden, a.k.a. "The Terrible Ogden", faced Ian Campbell in his one and only match of his wrestling career. The two unnamed wrestlers were, in real life, professional wrestlers Terry Nylands and Chick Purvey and with Ian Campbell regularly appeared in halls up and down the country and on ITV's "World of Sport".
- A pair of Wrestlers appear in the "Elmo the Musical" segment, "Cowboy the Musical." On their way to the Double Double Dude Dude Ranch Ranch, Elmo's Kitty Cows are taken away (via a hook). Velvet leads him to a corral, where the two Anything Muppets insist they're not rustlers, but wrestlers and the kitty cows are their own, "fierce" fighters. Elmo and his herd sing their counting song to prove they belong to him and ditch their captors.
