  • The Guards were the zoo guards, who used flashlights to catch any animals, that are escaping. The Guards wore police-like uniforms and had short black hair. They were voiced by Corey Burton. The Guards are also seen in Shrek and Shrek 2 as the Captain of Guards minions
  • The Spielburg Guard once had a legion of horses when it was strong. * Karl * Frederick * Pierre * the Captain
  • These unnamed guards guard the Far Far Away Palace.
  • Typically comprising members of a local militia or governing body's military services, the colors and styles of their uniforms varied, denoting rank, allegiance, and combat specialization.
  • Guards are notable because they are one of the few ally organizations that help you in missions, with the Guard Walker appearing several times in missions. They are also notable for not being able to handle some of the simpler missions in the game, such as dealing with a small contingent of Imminent Storm MTs in the Sewers. This is most likely due to the massive differences in power between the Armored Core and the Muscle Tracer.
  • When destroying houses at Alalea, one may encounter 2-5 guards and a chance of encountering guard captains (Reginald, Guard Captain, Drake, Guard Captain, Jace, Guard Captain, and Arsen.) These guards wield a Colossal Cutlass. However, they do not use the Colossal Flying Slash (Colossal Cutlass's Q skill.) They have a 1/100 chance of dropping their weapon when killed. The guard captain Reginald uses dual Colossal Cutlasses but he does not drop them.
  • Guards (ガードン Gādon?) – robot pojawiający się w grze Sonic Advance 3.
  • Guards are minor characters in Mafia II, usually found within missions, but otherwise not seen around Empire Bay. They're private security hired by area businesses and not part of the Empire Bay Police Department. They wear a uniform similar to that of police officers that consists of a light blue shirt, some add a tie, striped chevron or collar insignia, a dark hat with insignia, and dark blue pants. The prison guards also add a dark jacket with a badge and belt
  • Guards are the main adversaries in the Splinter Cell series and are almost always hostile to Sam Fisher and other playable characters. They serve as obstacles to Sam's progress and can either be avoided, killed, or rendered unconscious, except during special occasions. "Guard" refers to any armed hostile, not just security guards and others who guard property for a living.
  • Guards (ガードン Gādon) sind Badniks aus Sonic Advance 3, die nur beim Bosskampf gegen Egg Jack-in-the-Box vorkommen. Sie kommen immer zu dritt vor.
  • Guards are NPCs that patrol specific areas. All guards have a very high level (240) and as such, they will always be "red" to all player characters. Guards will attack player characters that satisfy specific conditions on sight. Guards will also defend themselves against attacks by any player characters. Clan base guards and neutral guards will also attack mobs.
  • Guards are standard patrolling the area of a mission. Hired by a boss or on the same side with him, these enemies will engage the player on sight and will try to chase him/her. They can be stealth killed if they're unaware of player. Some missions require killing all guards to complete. Generaly, guards aren't as strong as the player characters. However, they can be trouble in group. Also, elite guards appear in later missions are well trained, sometime equally skilled with player's characters. Guards in Tenchu come in various types:
  • Guards are normally allies, as they protect the peace in the cities. However, some guards are corrupt, and will attack the unwary. Also, if one is caught stealing or attacking citizens, the local guards will immediately come looking for the perpetrators. However, a sufficient bribe will sometimes get a guard to look the other way. Guards are usually found patrolling castles and cities, or something else of importance. They usually have little to say, but some are hidden storehouses of information. The guards of Ultima IX were, per programming, unbeatable.
  • The elite foot guards are charged with protecting the persons of the monarch and the royal family. These troops are equipped in much the same way as line infantrymen, and carry smoothbore muskets as their primary weapons. There, however, the similarities end. Their uniforms are altogether more splendid, marking them out as a superior force, in arrogance if nothing else. This attitude can serve them well in battle, as the guard can hardly be seen to be cutting and running, no matter how hot the enemy fire. They are also expected to do a good job as garrison troops, keeping the royal family safe no matter what the locals might think or be tempted to do by some foolish revolutionary fervour.
  • Guards are the common enemies found within the Sly Cooper series. They will often work for the local boss; though in some cases, like in Episode 2 of Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, or with Inspector Carmelita Fox, they may just be a force in the area that sees the Cooper Gang as an enemy. There are four types of guards in the Sly Cooper series.
