Mistoffelees performs some of the most intensive choreography in the musical, including the amazing Conjuring Turn, where approximately twenty-five spins on one foot are performed. Since obviously dancing skills outweigh vocal skills in the actor playing the part, there are several different vocal track options for Mistoffelees, so the actor can do quite a bit of singing or no singing at all, depending on his abilities. Mistoffelees usually sings "The Rum Tum Tugger is a terrible bore!" in "The Rum Tum Tugger," but he and Rum Tum Tugger nevertheless obviously respect each other. Some fans have placed them in a gay relationship together, but the vast majority of productions do not use this relationship between the two.
