Dr. Gary Hidalgo was a xeno-anthropologist in the 15th and 16th Century PD. He was very tall and thin man, with big-knuckled hands and outstanding ears. His hair was pale gray by 1522 PD. He was interested in archeo-anthropology, and felt strongly about the preservation of indigenous cultures in an uncontaminated state. After arriving on Sphinx, he critizised the way the colonists interacted with the native treecats, believing the potentially sentient species should have been protected from interference. (SK3)
