- The Lasso is a weapon that was scheduled to be featured in Grand Theft Auto V, but was cut from the final version of the game. An image of it can be found in the game files. Not much is known about it, although it is believed that it was going to behave similarly to the lasso featured in Red Dead Redemption, another game edited by Rockstar Games. - A lasso was a type of primitive tool, consisting of a rope with a noose at one end. It was used for ensnaring moving creatures or even sentient beings. The Quorks of Endor used lassos when they needed to capture living beings during their raids. Similarly, the Nightsisters of Dathomir used wrist-mounted lassos when they wished to take "malelings" as their new slaves. There existed more technologically advanced versions of those, such as the laser lasso, which emitted a "laser" that could wrap around its intended targets.
