The TT-9 APC was a vehicle designed by KiriCorp for the safe transportation of KGF troops to and from the battlefield. It was developed in 138 BBY and remained in service right up until after the Third War for Kiridak. It remained a very popular transport vehicle due to its reliability. Like its sister tank the TT-36, the TT-9 was mounted on a repulsorlift base, at a height of approximately 80 cm above the ground. It could achieve speeds of up to 130 m/ph, despite its armored bulk.

For a transport vehicle, the TT-9 was surprisingly well armored and armed. The armor plating had been known to resist even battle-cannon shots, up to a point. The turret was armed with four L-760 MAWs linked together, creating a storm of fire.
