The Lord Paramouncy of the Moonlyt Peaks is a lord paramouncy ruled by House Stone, in the mid-central region of Andoras, with the head of house Helman Stone as Lord Paramount. The Moonlyt Peaks are one of the hardest places in Andoras to invade; it is nearly impossible to win a land war in the Moonlyt Peaks, if not outrightly so. The heavy terrain, cold weather and unforgiving tundra -- especially in the north, where it borders Frostfall-- results in creating a hardy, creative breed of people, who, although seldom go to war, are prepared to do so and prepared to defend to the bitter end. From their point of view, there is nothing that the lowlanders can offer them that is tougher than the brunt of nature herself.

abstract
  • The Lord Paramouncy of the Moonlyt Peaks is a lord paramouncy ruled by House Stone, in the mid-central region of Andoras, with the head of house Helman Stone as Lord Paramount. The region was colonized early on, in the Age of Legends. It was subsequently abandoned and recolonized about three times according to myth, until a stable source of food and finding a spot to conduct agriculture was located; the Peaks were very unforgiving lands (and still are now, of course). Like Gardoria, the Moonlyt Peaks were not united when the first missionaries of the Five Paragons arrived; eventually, by the Third Era, House Stone emerged as the dominant house in the region, and slowly took over the region until it formed the Kingdom roughly a century after. Over the course of history, the Moonlyt Peaks has been relatively quiet, however a few influential figures, such as Garnder Golemont, have made their prominence known on Andoras from the Peaks. WIP
