| - Val had no clue, so she decided to use her 50:50, eliminating A and D. She thought it was 400, but was not really sure about it, so she decided to walk away with £8,000. The correct answer was indeed C: 400.
- Val did not know the answer, so she decided to call her colleague Sandy, who immediately answered C: Water. She decided to go with him and won £8,000. Then, the klaxon called time and Val would return on £8,000 with only 1 lifeline still available.
- Chris suggested that Val knew the answer to the question and that she did not need to see the choices. After Val said she would not guess blindly, Chris started asking her "Has it come up yet?" after each alternative appeared on screen. She went with B: Hudson and won £4,000.
