Serving as both a home for their God and for the wandering priests. Although Shintoism is but a small religious minority in this world, the shrine had gained popularity due to the festivals it hosts annually which includes a cleansing ritual and a kagura dance. It's known priest and priestesses are loyal to Uzushiogakure, and Michiko particularly, for allowing them to settle here in peace. Some priestesses have even been heard gossiping that Michiko might be a manifestation of Inari due to her close ties with foxes which often act as her messengers.
