  • It has a population of about 292,000 and a metro area of about 1,170,000 people.
  • Buffalo is a city in western New York on Lake Erie.
  • Buffalo is the second most populous city in the state of New York, after New York City. Located in Western New York on the eastern shores of Lake Erie and at the head of the Niagara River across from Fort Erie, Ontario, Buffalo is the seat of Erie County and the principal city of the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metropolitan area, the largest in Upstate New York. Downtown Buffalo is located 17 miles (27 km) south of Niagara Falls. Buffalo itself has a population of 261,310 (2010 Census) and the Buffalo–Niagara–Cattaraugus Combined Statistical Area is home to 1,215,826 residents.
  • Buffalo, New York is the largest city in the metro Buffalo area. Rick James used to live there. Thankfully, the buffalo, an early form of grizzly bear, is not native to the city. Buffalo is America's first line of defense against a Canadian invasion. Much like the Saginaw Spirit, the official hockey team of both Stephen Colbert and Jesus Christ, the Buffalo Sabres consistently defeat godless liberal Canadian hockey clubs like the Toronto Maple Leafs.
  • A former steel mill city, whose glory days have passed. A Camarilla city since the 1820's, Buffalo's princes have long held the city against Anarch and Sabbat alike. • Originating around 1789 as a small trading community near the eponymous Buffalo Creek, Buffalo grew quickly after the opening of the Erie Canal in 1825, with the city as its western terminus
  • Buffalo is a drinking town with a self-destructive sports problem. Buffalo is a city in the state of New York located just east of the the toxic waste dump of Lake Erie and only a mere 5 miles from the booming metropolis of Niagara Falls, NY. Incorporated as a city in 1832, the city made its rise to power due to the Erie Canal. It was once home to the world's second largest steel works in neighboring Lackawanna (NY), with General Motors Corporation's largest engine factory located in neighboring Tonawanda (NY). Buffalo is in many ways the "Buckle of the Rust Belt". This dirty old broken-down city was once home to nearly every grimy, greasy, smoke-belching, soot-spewing factory you could think of, but of course today most of those plants shut down and they took their jobs to China or Mexico
  • Home > List of rides > United States > Buffalo, New York Look up on Google / Wikipedia Buffalo's first Critical Mass ride was in the early 2000s --maybe as early as the year 2000. There is video footage of the first ride that was premiered before a live audience after the Critical Mass incident of May 2003. The following Critical Mass ride had almost 200 riders (including cyclists who had biked in from various cities around the region) and Critical Mass rides in Buffalo have continued on and have even begun to include winter rides (in Buffalo there is sometimes deep snow in the winter).
