The Shrine of S'vec was a location on Vulcan and was situated in the Tat'sahr province. It was erected in its place in honor of one of the first adepts of Surak in the time before the Awakening. This was S'vec who arrived in the Tat'sahr province in order to bring peace to it through the teachings of pacifism and logic. For a time, he was successful but the warlord Xi'rev used the peace to attack his rival Lhai. Lhai used the incident in an attempt to discredit Surak and his followers. Thus, S'vec went to Lhai's court in order to preach peace but was accused of spying and executed along with his followers who willingly followed him; even though they knew that they faced a possibly death.

  • The Shrine of S'vec was a location on Vulcan and was situated in the Tat'sahr province. It was erected in its place in honor of one of the first adepts of Surak in the time before the Awakening. Thus, S'vec went to Lhai's court in order to preach peace but was accused of spying and executed along with his followers who willingly followed him; even though they knew that they faced a possibly death. Tradition stated the death of the acolytes converted the sons of both Lhai and Xi'rev due to the example they set. S'vec's followers sealed up their former home and placed a shrine in S'vec's name before departing the region. According to historians, the shrine was later destroyed at some point but it was believed by some that the sealed commune may have remained intact. If this were true, then many artifacts from the early Logical movement which may have included the additional writings of Surak could be located in the area.
