  • "Little Green Men" is the first episode of the second season of The X-Files.
  • Little green men, or LGMs, are the stereotypical portrayal of extraterrestrials as little (50cm-1m) humanoid creatures with green skin. Many variants have been reported, such as with one eye or with antennae. The term is also sometimes used to describe gremlins, mythical creatures known for causing problems in airplanes and mechanical devices. Today, these creatures more commonly associated as an alien species are the Greys.
  • The Squeeze Toy Aliens (also known as Little Green Men or LGMs for short) are supporting characters in the Disney/Pixar Toy Story franchise and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. They played a small role in the first two movies but had a much bigger role in Toy Story 3.
  • When Evil Emperor Zurg steals the Unimind, the Little Green Men lose part of their intellectual capacities, becoming unable to properly fix a damaged XR. Because of this, the little robot gets a much more Human-like personality (“so many character flaws”). After Zurg is defeated by Buzz, the Unimind is retrieved and the aliens' mindlink is restored.
  • When Woody and Buzz jump inside the claw game, they are greeted by the three-eyed aliens. One of them gets captured by Andy's neighbor Sid. When Woody his pal Buzz Lightyear from being grabbed, the aliens stopped him to not fight the claw. One of them gets attacked by Sid's dog Scud. During the plan, the one attacked by Scud scares Sid.
  • A formerly common depiction of aliens, now a Discredited Trope. They're green, they pilot Flying Saucers, and they're smaller than a human. The degree of "little" varies widely; they may be only a head or so shorter than people, or they may be small enough to pick up in one hand. They commonly have antennae. Since the Mariner and Viking probes of The Sixties, they've been slowly replaced by The Greys in serious works. Basically done for comedy now. See also Green-Skinned Space Babe and The Reptilians.
