It appears to be actually attached to the user of the weapon, as it is seen with tentacles attached to the user. when the user wants to use it, it seems to not be in a scabert but just appears out of thin air. When the sword is used, a glowing mass appears around the hand and several tentacles come out of the user's wrist and the sword forms. The handle is in the shape of a large red dragon's head and the blade is an ethereal blade of yellow-orange flame that can be adjusted in length. Thus the sword as a whole resembles a dragon breathing fire. The sword also appears when mentally activated as it is Syncronized with the host and will come if summoned. The ethereal blade will be used in cojuncture with whatever nature you decide to imbue it with Be it Lightning, Water, Wind, Fire, Earth even kekkei Genkai, but it will only use what Chakra natures you possess. This weapon has been considered a sapient living creature similar to Samehada due to both thriving of the chakra of its user, however their contrasting abilities set them apart. This blade however falls victim to Samehada, regardless of the nature transformation save of the Yang Release blade, which severs chakra. Raido X's A.U counterpart Raido Σ also possesses a blade similar to that of his own in both name and abilities.
