The AHA was resurrected after the war as the USHL and the Rangers played in its first four seasons from 1945 to 1949. The club never won a regular season or playoff championship but did finish second twice in 1946-47 and 1947-48. Gene Carrigan coached the team in 1941-42. Hall of Famer Eddie Shore was the coach in 1945-46. In 1946-47 the coach was Wally Kilrea and in the last two years Gordon Savage coached. The team folded in 1949 because of travel expenses.
