The Lovian Evangelical Lutheran Church was a Lovian Protestant Christian denomination and church body founded by Theodore Smith, jr. in 1952. It merged with the Free Lutheran Association into the Unified Lutheran Church in 2001. The LELC was the most evangelical of the Lovian churches in the 1950s and 1960s, but eventually became more moderate.
