  • Located along the southern coast of the Crags, Mellerne is the smallest county of the Crags, though perhaps the most geographically unique. Having its northern border on an impressive limestone ridge marking the transition to the peaks of Stoneshaw, most of modern-day Mellerne is less spectacular in terms of height differences than its sister territories. Jagged landscapes, limestone cliffs and waterfalls dominate the county. The surface consists mostly of exposed bedrock, meadows and shrubbery, sometimes broken up by a group of trees. The climate is generally warmer than elsewhere in the Bastion mountain range. Travel still remains difficult for caravans in the area, though the coastal road leading from southern Eastcliffe to Thorne in the southern does see some use as an alternative to the main thoroughfare in Saintsvale. Stone and marble quarries dot the landscape, making up for a lack of ores in the region. The main settlement in the region is the city of Cragport, which serves as a node in both the land and sea trade networks.
