Makayla Wilson was born Makayla Seif-Audrey in Campbell, Canberra to insurance salesman Jelle Dominic Seif-Audrey and PA Sophie Poppy Seif-Audrey (nee. Ambessa). During a talent contest with her friend MC Booknerd, Makayla was spotted by legendary MC Mysterious Number 13 who asked the two to join the group Canberra Dragon. The two have since appeared in all but two of the bands wildly successful albums. Another side project with an album coming out early March 2011.

The couple reside in Belconnen, Canberra with their five children, Timothy Merico (8), Tomika Radomila (7), Peyton Diana (5), Lac Isabelle (4) and Koby William (3).
