| - Policy on Laboratory Wiki is defined as a set of guidelines, rather than strict dictates. Consequently, policy on this wiki is not enforced per se, unless the situation warrants it (i.e. where administrative intervention is required). Therefore, all editors on this wiki are asked to adhere to policy, and where conflicts arise, that they discuss policy with other editors so that a consensus may be reached. This also means policy on this wiki can be altered, as editors see fit, according to consensus. If a particular piece of policy on Laboratory Wiki is in any way preventing editors from making improvements to the wiki, it should, by all means, be changed accordingly. This also means policy is naturally flexible, and may be violated in certain circumstances, if a consensus is reached among editors.
