Berserker lords are a type of monster in ADOM. As the name implies, they are slightly more powerful version of berserkers. It is possible to tame berserker lords with a female character (male character in 1.1.1 due to a bug) by 'g'iving them a wedding ring.

The second Berserker Lord appears in Eastern SkyTown, Elysia, most likely to prevent her from retrieving the First Bomb Component. When defeated, it merely dissolves into ash and dust like normal enemies.

Text
  • Berserker Lords are highly resistant to damage. Their shoulders are the only unprotected area vulnerable to standard weapon fire. Their main defense lies in their head-mounted Phazite plating, which can only be destroyed by the projectiles it fires. Berserker Lords are a desperate measure, designed to exploit Phazon as much as possible. The few Berserker Knights that survive the highest level of corruption are promoted to Lord status. Lords are distinguished by their ornate Phazite plating and the Phazon reserves they carry on their backs.

In all, you must battle multiple Berserker Lords, though the later versions are slightly different from this version - sometimes less powerful and sometimes more depending on which one. Its body is fused with the powerful Phazon element, which conclusively makes it exceedingly more powerful than before. It has a heavy armor which can not be penetrated by Samus Aran's weapons, but rather by the Beserker Lord's own projectiles which it shoots out at you. Once it starts to spew out the purple spheres, she'd have to shoot at them, which in turn would make it return back to the lord, which would over time start to destroy its armor. Once its armor is destroyed, she'd be able to go up close and rapidly shoot at its weak spot, which would soon enough defeat it. It became so badly damaged that it tripped into outer space, where it got mixed in with the ships that were dogfighting and eventually collided with an oncoming ship, thus killing both the monster and the pilot (as well as anyone else in the ship).

A Berserker Lord is a Berserker Knight that has survived further corruption with more Phazon than what Knights can usually tolerate (similar to the Omega Pirate compared to Elite Pirates). It is possible the Berserker Pirates are the result of improved experimentation following Project Helix. When first encountered, while Samus is heading back to her Gunship, a yell is heard and a Federation Marine's body is thrown out of a window. The Berserker Lord jumps down and attacks Samus. Samus commands her gunship to fly into a safe spot while the two fight in an electric cage. After Samus defeats the Lord, it falls back into the electrical fence falling to the depths of space only to be rammed into by a Space Pirate Fighter, killing both the pilot of the fighter, and the Berserker Lord itself. The second Berserker Lord appears in Eastern SkyTown, Elysia, most likely to prevent her from retrieving the First Bomb Component. When defeated, it merely dissolves into ash and dust like normal enemies.
