Kim is a minor character that appears in "The Understudy". She works at a Korean nail parlor where Elaine brings Frank Costanza to translate what the Koreans say about her. Earlier in the episode, Frank tells Elaine that he had an affair with "a Korean woman" during his time as a salesman in Korea, but that the relationship didn't work out because her father didn't like him. Kim recognizes Frank's voice when he screams at the Korean women who are working in the nail parlor and they reunite after many years of not seeing each other. It's later revealed that the reason to why their relationship didn't work out was because Frank refused to take off his shoes due to his "foot odor problem".
