In Hawaiian mythology, Kilioa and Kalamainu are 2 lizard women (sisters) who keep the souls of the dead in the underworld and from returning to the world of the living. There is also a Kalamainu'u in Hawaiin mythology, she was a woman born as a lizard (mo'o) who could transform into a beautiful woman. Kalamainu'u was the goddess of fish-trap craftsman. It is unclear if Kalamainu'u and Kalamainu are one and the same, or two different entities.
