The Republic of Britain was formed in the late 19th Century after the death of Queen Victoria (who was without an heir). The Republic was formed, consisting of the states of England, Scotland and Wales - Ireland voted to declare independence and went on to fight a bloody war against the British from 1921-1985, known as the Irish War, or the War across the Sea.
