He founded the Soy Green Freedom Party, now the Green Freedom Party, in 2277, to campaign for federalist and green issues. He guided the party for 30 years, until 2307, when he retired and was replaced by ex-Justice minister Ov D. Peas. He led the SGFP through two coalitions, and is well-known as the founder of the Dargun Conference for Moderate and Leftist Unity, still active in Dorvish politics today. He died in his apartment in Fairfax in October 2329, at the age of 79. A supply ship, the RDS Soyak, is named in his honor.
