- Gun Sword, known in Japan as Gun vs. Sword(ガン × ソードGan × Sōdo), is a Japanese animated television series produced by AIC A.S.T.A. The series is directed by Gorō Taniguchi and written by Hideyuki Kurata. The story is set on the "Planet of Endless Illusion", a place where rogues of all sorts gather. The protagonist, Van, travels the world searching for a man with a clawed right hand who killed his bride. He is joined by several other travelers along the way, each linked to the clawed man by a personal loss.

| - Van a drifter comes to a city being overtaken by Lucky and his group of bandits. The locals are hiding in a mall from the bandits. They seek his help against the bandits. Finally Lucky attacks mall with his armor. Van then defeats Lucky and saves all the people in the mall. A girl named Wendy confronts Lucky on the whereabouts of her brother. He tells her that the Clawed Man took him away with him. Von attacks Lucky and asks him where the Clawed Man is hiding at. Lucky has no clue only that they left about a week ago. The next day Von and Wendy start their journey in search of the Clawed Man and Wendy's brother.
- Van and Wendy enter a town on a long bridge called Bridge City. Looking for some information on Wendy's brother and the Clawed Man. They go to a hotel and Von meets an old friend named Carmen99. Carman99 and Wendy introduce them self to each other. Next they go to the gate that allows them to cross the bridge. No one has been allowed to go on through for the last few days because of repairs. Baron the mayor has put some new regulations on crossing the bridge while repairs are being made. Only 200 women are allowed to cross the bridge today through an underground tunnel. The women go to the tunnel and it turns out to be a trap. He plans on starting a new empire with the bridge and women. Von then comes to save Carman99 and Wendy. Baron next summons his armor. Von also summons his too. They battle and eventually Von learns the weakness of the armor and beats Baron. Von gets some information on the Clawed Man and Wendy's brother. They then say their goodbyes to Carman99 and continue their journey to find the Clawed Man and Wendy's brother.
- Van and Wendy's journey brings them through a town in the Desert. There are old men who were once armor pilots called the El Dora Five. They hang around a bar and reminisce their old days as armor pilots. This causes trouble for the younger people in the bar. Who think the old men are lying and think they're useless old men. Then this Mad Scientist attacks the town with his armor. The old men battle with the scientist and try to protect the city, but there missing the 5th member of the El Dora Five who is deceased. With the help of Von who launches the extra armor at El Dorado. The armor now operates at full power and they quickly defeat the mad scientist.
- Van and Wendy encounter an armor pilot who Von easily defeats. All of a sudden Von becomes sick with a bad fever. So Wendy goes to town looking for a doctor. While Wendy goes to town looking for a doctor Von calls Dann, and leaves so he can heal himself. Wendy gets medicine from the doctor in town. Then she goes back to the cave where she left Von. He isn't there anymore. Then the guy who Von defeated earlier shows up with a group of other armor pilots. They try to capture Wendy, but then Von comes and saves her.
