| - Collin Hames was born in the Efineya province of Endralon in 2379. He was a bright boy who attended university for political studies but changed his major mid-course to media studies. As a young man, he served as anchor for several local news stations, but always felt stifled by his inability to infuse his reporting with anything of a political nature. Hames finally landed his big break when a major news network noticed his humorous and sometimes biting critiques of Endralon's political scene during a segment of the local news. The network brought him on as a political commentator, where he flourished. Soon, he had his own show, bringing in rave reviews and millions of viewers nightly. When some of his viewers began calling on Hames to run for office, he did not initially take it seriously. Soon, however he had amassed a serious base of support. In 2415, Hames announced he would begin a new venture: the Centralist Party. Former fans, politicians, and producers donated and helped form the new party. The CEO of the news network where Hames had made his name took the company public and divided the shares among the party leadership, renaming the network "Centralist Party TV." After three years of toiling and spreading the Centralist Party message, the party picked up an impressive 86 seats in the Endralon parliament 2418, and immediately began making an impact. In 2434, almost twenty years after the formation of his beloved party, Collin Hames was elected the President of the Republic of Endralon. He served one term as President, after which he retired from public life. Before his death in 2472, Hames completed his seminal work, "Commentaries on the Centralist Viewpoint," a document that survives to this day as the basis of all party doctrine. File:Placeholder
