1960s. JUNIORS' AND MISSES' TWO-PIECE DRESS: Top has set-in sleeves, slit openings at lower edge of front darts and back button closing. V. 1 and 2 have roll-type collar. V. 1 and 3 have 3/4 length sleeves. V. 2 has short sleeves and a purchased tie belt. V. 3 has button trim. Skirt has inverted pleats which may be top-stitched in place. Pleats may be pressed or unpressed. Skirt has side zipper closing. (For velveteen, pleats are neither stitched nor pressed). A Simplicity Primer pattern.
