- Shannon Lee Miller (born March 10, 1977) is a former artistic gymnast from Edmond, Oklahoma. She is the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history. Miller was the 1993 and 1994 World All-Around Champion, the 1996 Olympics balance beam gold medalist, the 1995 Pan Am Games all-around champion, and a member of the gold medal-winning Magnificent 7 team at the Atlanta Olympics. The winner of a combined total of 16 World Championships and Olympic medals between 1991 and 1996, Miller ranks as the most decorated gymnast, male or female, in U.S. history. Miller was also the most successful American athlete, by medal count, at the 1992 Barcelona Games, winning five altogether.

| - Shannon is a cousin of Jade Newman.
- Shannon Miller, is the former head coach of the Canadian national women's hockey team which won the Silver medal in ice hockey at the 1998 Winter Olympics. She has also won four NCAA championships with the Minnesota–Duluth Bulldogs women's ice hockey. Miller played in the first Canadian national championships in 1982. Miller also refereed Canadian university hockey from 1982 to 1985. In 1985, she was a member of the Canadian Hockey Feminine Council and was president of the Southern Alberta Women’s Hockey League. She helped to form the first ever girls minor hockey association in Calgary in 1989.
