Han sacado dos singles hasta el momento, Diary of a smoker y Your mind is on the run. Características=> The Monomes prefiere definirse como una banda de rock más que como un grupo, tal y como se decía en los años 60. Su música está inspirada en el rock, el funk y en algunos matices de la música punk. Reconocen, pese a su juventud, a Elvis, The Beatles, Dylan y Ottis Redding entre otros, como maestros a emular. Sin embargo, en su lista de favoritos están Guns N' Roses, The Doors, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The White Stripes, Fugazzi, Los Ramones, Brand New Heavies, Ben Harper, Arctic Monkeys y Kings of Leon. The Monomes define su música como "una interpretación del rock americano de las bandas de los 80 y los 90, con sonidos del rock europeo.
