Still Life ( Sanxia haoren directed in Chinese) is a Chinese film directed by Jia Zhangke. The film was shot at the old city, Wen Jiabao inspectedthat in 2002 has been moved due to the construction of the Three Gorges Dam (a dam in the Yangtze River), whereby the water level would increase from 90-105 metres to 135 metres. In the film, people must leave the village and they later during the ascent of Wen Jiabao inspected the water back to back. So a miner returns back to find his wife and a nurse her husband. The Dutch premiere was June 21, 2007.
