The Macintosh Centris 650 was a personal computer that was a part Apple Computer's Centris series of Macintosh computers, respectively. When the Macintosh Centris 650 was introduced in February 1993 alongside the smaller Macintosh Centris 610, it was intended as the start of the new midrange Centris line of computers, a nice formerly occupied by the Macintosh Quadra 700 which was discontinued on September 15, 1994. The Macintosh Centris 650 was discontinued on May 15, 1995.

The Macintosh Centris 650 was discontinued on May 15, 1995. The Centris 650 introduced memory interleaving that accelerated the Macs overall performance by as much as 30 percent. In order to take avantage of this, both banks of memory had to be filled with like for like DIMMS.
