Florence Nightingale was a Human nurse, who was primarily known for treating wounded soldiers on Earth's ancient battlefields. In 2377, Harry Kim renamed the Kraylor Medical Transport 136 after Nightingale, since he believed at the time that it was carrying vital vaccines to the Kraylor homeworld. It later turned out this ship wasn't on a medical mission at all, however, making it somewhat of a misnomer. (VOY: "Nightingale") Her first name was not mentioned on-screen.
