Description
  • passive pickup with 4 conductor hook-up ; voiced for fat, powerful clean tones, fluid vocal-like sustain when driven hard and good balance with the bridge humbucker; accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing with crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation; perfect for the modern metal guitarist; suited to solid-body; heavily detuned and extended range guitars. Available in six-, seven- and eight-string designs.
  • The perfect synergy of old-school and modern rock tones in a high output humbucker with Alnico V magnets. From hot, fat blues rock through to aggressive thrash, the Nailbomb explodes with a strong and commanding voice. Contemporary players will take advantage of the full bore reaction of the pickup on full tilt; older school players will enjoy the range of classic tones and response using the volume pot to clean up. The Nailbomb neck humbucker has a woody and bright character when used clean; add overdrive and the tone tightens up for a focused and precise attack. Available in six-, seven- and eight-string designs.
  • The Canine pickup is a bit of a mystery as the product doesn't appear on Bare Knuckle's website. In fact, they don't list any 9-string pickups on their site, so this is likely to be custom made for Ibanez. Based on the name, the Canine is believed to be a nine-string version of Bare Knuckle's Black Dog pickup.
  • passive pickup with 4 conductor hook-up ; features a symmetrically hand-wound twin screw coil design and is powered by 3 custom size ceramic magnets; accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing with crushing mid range and precise high-end articulation; perfect for the modern metal guitarist; suited to solid-body, heavily detuned and extended range guitars.
The default Alnico V magnet offers up a huge, deep bottom end with rich, throaty mid range and warm highs. The bridge ceramic magnet option adds more output, tightens the bass response and smoothes the mid range slightly with a brighter cut in the high end, whilst retaining the core voice of the humbucker. Available in six-, seven- and eight-string designs.
