When Hrek became a Legate in the Vagaari War, Hozzit was brevetted to Captain and given command of the Redoubt so Hrek could focus on the larger campaign. After the war ended in 143 ABY, Hrek was promoted to Admiral and Hozzit's command of the Redoubt was made permanent. At some point before 149 ABY, presumably on Admiral Hrek's recommendation, he became captain of the Sith Star. When the Star was boarded during the Battle of Dolomir, Hozzit commanded its internal defenses, organizing Massassi Cohorts and Royal Marines to aid the Centurions fighting deck-to-deck while Sorrik directed the ship's combat against the enemy ships around it.
