| - Michael Madsen (born 20 November 1980) is a Danish professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for Hvidovre Ligahockey in the Oddset Ligaen in his native Denmark. Madsen has served as backup goaltender to Peter Hirsch on the Danish national team in several World Championships, as well as several Danish teams in regular season play. On 31 January 2007, he signed with Sport in the Finnish Mestis. For the 2007-08 season, Madsen played for the Rødovre Mighty Bulls.

- When he was 6'2" and 190 pounds, Michael Madsen--the brother of actress Virginia Madsen--was equally adept at portraying heroic as well as villainous characters. There's something in the way he delivers his lines with an underlying aggression masked behind his gravelly tones that makes you feel very uneasy about his true intentions.
