abstract	Tough Squadron was one of the two starfighter squadrons made up of smugglers from Dubrillion piloting Lando Calrissian's uglies, the other being Savage Squadron. They fought in the evacuation of Dubrillion and the Battle of Dantooine during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Tough Squadron was the lesser of the two, being composed of ships that lacked shields or powerful weapons. One of its members was a Gamorrean aft gunner of an original Y-wing, and it had at least two TYE-wings and an X-ceptor. To improve morale, Tough Squadron's pilots wore rakish red scarves around their necks. By the time the decision to evacuate Dantooine arrived, all of Tough Squadron had been destroyed.
