Ramsay is unlocked by training Cooking via cooking food and brewing. Gaining this pet is based on the amount of experience awarded at once; the more experience granted per item made, the greater the chance of gaining this pet. The chance is not affected by experience boosters.

- <default><i>Unknown</i></default> Played byUnknown Years activeUnknown Travelled withUnknown First storyUnknown Last storyUnknown Previous CompanionUnknown Next CompanionUnknown Ramsay was a vortisaur, which are like big pterodactyls that live in the Time Vortex and probably feed on temporal energy? Or something? Because what the fuck else is there to eat out there. Anyway, Ramsay and his vortisaur gang attack the TARDIS at one point, and in attempting to flee, the Doctor accidentally drags Ramsay - then known only as "a vortisaur," until Charley later names him - along with him on his first audio adventure, except all that Ramsay initially does is bite people and scream. It's okay, though, because the Doctor and his new companion end up using Ramsay to escape, because apparently the First Doctor used to ride vortisaurs bareback, on Gallifrey during his youth. Unfortunately, Ramsay doesn't stick around for very long - he gets increasingly restless, and the Doctor suspects he needs to go back to the vortex in order to feel better. So, in the shittest audio story (or so I've been told), they release Ramsay to reunite with his own kind, so he can continue to terrorise derelict spaceships and wayward time travellers for the rest of his days. Aww. The Doctor then became acquainted with his sister Margaret in one of the Lucie audios. He totally would've taken her onboard if he wasn't distracted by Lucie getting kidnapped by the Headgiver. As with Jasper and Stewart, and all other animal or animal-based companions, Ramsay is extremely canon, so much so that all other non-animal companions are immediately rendered non-canon by virtue of their very existence.
