abstract
  • A War Ring is a Ring-class piece of equipment found in Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. In both games it can be won as a prize at the Lucky Wheels minigame that uses Game Tickets and is found and played at Tolbi in the first game and at Contigo in the second. Its buy value is 2600 coins and its sell value is 1950, its sell value while broken is 1300, and its repair value is 650. The War Ring does not provide any statistics boosts while equipped. Rather, it is Used as an item by an Adept able to equip it in battle (but it does not actually have to be equipped, needing only be in that Adept's inventory) to emulate the Impact Psynergy and increase a selected Adept's Attack rating by 25%. Placing this ring in the inventory of an Adept to give him the equivalent to the Impact Psynergy he might otherwise not have might be useful depending on your class setup, if there is a specific Adept you want to use to give a substantial temporary boost to the attack power of a specific other Adept. Impact can be a strong and reliable effect, so if you have specific use for it on at least one extra Adept, this ring can be useful.
