- Enter: Sonic is a complete story, primarily a chance to show Sonic destroying some Badniks. Written by Alan McKenzie, drawn by Anthony Williams and lettered by Tom Frame, the story sees Sonic hearing of a new machine designed by Doctor Robotnik and heads to destroy it. After meetings with many of his friends in the Green Hill Zone, as well as a scrape with death, Sonic eventually tracks down the threat and absolutely wrecks it.
- Issue 1 is the first and the debut issue of Image Comics' The Walking Dead and the first part of Volume 1: Days Gone Bye. It was originally published on October 8, 2003. It was re-released in full color on October 9, 2013 as a special edition to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Walking Dead. An artist proof edition was released on August 26, 2015.
- Issue 1, titled Through the Looking Glass, was the first major revision of City of Heroes after the initial launch of the game. Issue 1 went live on Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Some of the major features released in this issue were:
